Although every care is taken to ensure safety of entries, participants enter at their own risk of damage to entries during judges handling, and duration of event.
Custom ToyCon Judges decisions are FINAL! No appeals allowed.
Three (3) or more entries make a class.
You must be the builder of your entries in all categories you enter. Team builds are not allowed
Previous Amateur First Place winners or previous Pro entries may not enter Amateur categories. Pro 1st place winners can only enter Elite Categories.
All Custom Entries must be loose for judging. Example: No mirror bases, boxes, or platforms of any kind. Figure entries are allowed a small “prop” to hold it vertical.
You must submit your entries in the correct category, mis-categorized entries will be disqualified.
There is a limit of 5 entries max per category per person. For security purposes, you must have a picture ID to pick up your customs at the end of the event.
Judging is based on overall appearance, clean execution, interior, and exterior details. Entries will be judged on a points based score sheet. Detail headlights, taillights, interior, chassis etc. is VERY important for maximum points.

VINYL/FIGURES-includes Vinyl, Lego, Action, Dolls, etc. 1st – 3d place awards will be given
MILD-Repaints only, no modifications allowed.
SPICY-includes Repainting, shaving, adding accessories, slight cutting (such as ears). Up to TWO minor Modifications allowed from “Out The Box”.
WILD-anything goes-cutting, molding, etc allowed to “Out The Box”.
PLASTIC MODELS- includes Auto, Aircraft, Watercraft, Etc. 1st – 3d place Awards will be given.

DIORAMA: Dioramas can be of anything you can imagine, such as a garage scene, landscapes, battle scenes, etc. It can also be based on custom packaging such as a new look on a blister card to a custom box or a nicely done display. Please keep the size of the Dioramas/Displays to approximately 20 x 20 inches to insure enough room on the judging table
DIECAST CARS:
Diecast Including Hot Wheels, M2, Johnny Lightning

Spicy: Minor body modifications allowed. The keyword here is “minor” such as adding hood scoops or spoilers, motor changes, lowering or raising the suspensions. Detail is a must here also. 1st, 2nd, and 3rd Place awarded.
Wild: Anything goes-stretching, cutting, grafting, filling, chopping, shortening, mixing, adding body parts, changing suspensions, etc. Detail and quality are important for max points. 1st, 2nd, and 3rd Place awarded.
Sets: This category is for builds of 2 or more vehicles done in ANY of the categories above and all vehicles will be judged for total points. In example: a mild set will compete vs. a wild set. Wheel swaps are allowed from any manufacturer. 1st, 2nd, and 3rd Place awarded.

Elite Category 1st thru 3rd- This is the bring your best category. Cash prizes worth $1000 will be awarded in the classification as well as the Customizer of the Year will awarded which includes a custom ring!
